FoxHills Golf Centre driving range boasts 16 bays and is located in Ottershaw, Surrey. A well known and award winning family-owned country club and resort. The facility is set in 400 acres and is just 20 minutes from London Heathrow and within easy reach of London.
FoxHills Golf Centre had a keen interest in bringing efficiency to the way it managed the outfield maintenance at its facility. Making it a key motivating factor in them choosing AMS’s robot technology.
The automated outfield maintenance system includes the Belrobotics robot BallPicker to collect the range balls and BigMow to cut the grass. Along with our unique automated ball wash system, which the BallPicker robot drops the range balls into after collection. Once deposited, the balls are then washed and returned to the dispenser automatically, creating a constant ball supply for the facility.

Since the installation of the robots, the level of human input involved in the maintenance of the outfield has been significantly reduced. The robots require minimal intervention, roughly 10 – 15 minutes a day cleaning in comparison to the hours usually involved in the mowing and ball collection that traditional equipment requires.
